Coming Home: Around The Table

November 20 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Join Abby Sykes as she leads a unique 2-part series on Wednesdays, November 13th and 20th, that will build upon our prior “Coming Home” series led by Abby and Lisa LaPlante! It is not necessary to have attended prior sessions to attend these discussions, and everyone is welcome to come and take part in the learning and conversation. These sessions come at the perfect time, as they will invite participants to talk and think about our relationship with food and how we nourish our bodies ahead of the holiday season. The sessions will invite discussion of intuitive and mindful eating, as well as exploring how food is a source of connection to other people, ourselves, and the earth. Additionally, the sessions will touch on embodiment and what self-care looks like for us individually. Participants are welcome to bring their Coming Home journals from Lisa and Abby’s prior series or any notebook or journal they like! This group will meet in the FBC Church Lounge from 6:30-8:00 p.m. on both Wednesdays.

Please stay tuned for more details on the associated “Coming Home” Open Forum that we’ll gather for on Sunday, November 24th for at 11:30 a.m.!
