Informational Session on Immigration and Deportation Issues

May 15, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

This information session, cosponsored by First Baptist Church and the Beverly Multifaith Coalition, will be the first in a series of events available to the Beverly community and to the faith communities within the City, to help people to learn about and to think about and to talk about issues surrounding immigration and deportation in our country.
This initial session will focus on the history of immigration policy in our country and will provide a how-did-we-get-where-we-are overview. There will also be a question and answer period of the evening.
Rob McAndrews, a local immigration attorney and Salem State professor, will be leading the discussion for the evening.
Childcare will be provided.
This event is open to all. Contact the First Baptist Church office for more information.
