Discernment Meeting on Immigration and Deportation

May 30, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

This meeting will mark the first in a series of discernment meetings for the congregation of First Baptist Church.
Following the May 15th informational session introducing topics around the history and evolution of immigration and deportation policies in this country, the church family will have the opportunity to enter into thoughtful conversation together about what, if anything, the church feels called to do in response to the current climate on immigration and deportation in our nation.
This gathering will be the first in a series of several, as part of what will be an intentional process and coming together of the church family to talk, to listen, and to share ideas and feelings with one another, as the more of our voices we can bring together, the stronger and richer our conversation will be.
Childcare will be provided.
Please contact the First Baptist Church office for more information.
