Longest Night Service

December 20, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Longest Night (sometimes called Blue Christmas), is for all seeking hope and healing in the midst of the challenges in life and as we approach the shortest day of the year. This beautiful service is a reminder that light and hope transcend even the darkness, intended for anyone who would like a quieter and more meditative space in the busyness of Christmastime… for anyone carrying hurt or pain…for anyone who would like to gather and lift our shared prayers and hopes for ourselves, our community, and our world. The service moves from darkness to light, as we recall Jesus, the Light of the World, who enters in and touches the darkness of our night with light. Refreshments following. A wonderful event to invite a friend. Hosted by First Parish UU, Saint Peters Episcopal and First Baptist in Beverly. Takes place at First Baptist in Beverly 221 Cabot Street, 6:30 p.m.
