Temple B’nai honors the Beverly Multifaith Coalition with the Leah Shriro Award for Social Action. The Multifaith Coalition is a group of faith leaders who regularly engage with the differences and commonalities among our various faith traditions as a tangible way to promote respect, understanding, and peace in our community.
Leah Shriro was a former chairperson of Temple B’nai’s Social Action Committee, longtime TBA member, parent, School Committee member, and co-chair for the creation of Temple B’nai’s beautiful Memorial Garden.
