Third Public Forum on Immigration

September 14, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

This third public forum, hosted by Beverly Multifaith Coalition and Essex County Community Organization, will provide training for a variety of ways that people can support neighbors at risk of deportation.  If your conscience is leading you to get involved, this is your opportunity!  Options include: Triage (connecting immigrants and those at risk of deportation with needed services); direct support to families whose loved one has been deported; advocacy and public witness (for those who want to work through the system to make immigration services more humane; rapid response team; financial support (the process to get legal status or to appeal deportation order costs money); and housing support for those at risk of deportation.
Childcare provided.
